Finally, a much needed resource for senior students! Having worked with students for many years developing study skills, I often see students struggling to implement the strategies as they are not mentally in the right place to move forward. Many senior students are filled with stress and anxiety which leads to worry, procrastination and ineffective work habits. This resource is a practical approach to dealing with these issues. Students are stepped through thought processes to help them move forward in their studies in a positive way. The activities are hands on, rather than simply rhetoric, and will make a huge difference in directing students towards a peak performance mind set. Having been a Year 12 Coordinator myself in the past, this is something I would definitely have grabbed and given to all of my students in the last weeks before they head off to prepare for their final exams. The more we can support our students, the less stressful and more rewarding the final year of school will be for them.
